SAP Test Lead / Test Coordinator | Major ECC to S/4HANA Upgrade | 12 Month Contr We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Lead / Test Coordinator to join a large retail organisation based in Bentley, supporting a major SAP upgrade from ECC to S/4HANA under a RISE program. This is an exciting 12 month contract opportunity for someone who understands how SAP environments work, knows how to coordinate structured testing across complex business functions, and can confidently engage with stakeholders across IT, business, vendor, and project teams. You will play a key role in ensuring the SAP upgrade is tested thoroughly, risks are identified early, defects are managed effectively, and business users are supported through the testing lifecycle. The role will suit someone who is organised, calm under pressure, commercially aware, and able to bring structure and confidence to a large transformation program. Key responsibilities: • Coordinate test planning and execution across the SAP upgrade program • Work closely with functional consultants, technical teams, vendors, business users, and project stakeholders • Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, integration testing, and defect management activities • Ensure testing activities are clearly documented, tracked, and delivered against project timelines • Help identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and issues across the testing lifecycle • Support business users through UAT preparation, execution, and defect resolution • Provide clear reporting on test progress, blockers, defects, and readiness • Bring structure, discipline, and strong communication to a complex SAP transformation environment About you: • Strong experience in SAP testing, test coordination, or test lead roles • Solid understanding of SAP from either a functional, systems, or project delivery perspective • Experience working on SAP upgrades, implementations, migrations, or transformation programs • Exposure to ECC and/or S/4HANA environments would be highly regarded • RISE program experience would be advantageous • Strong understanding of testing principles, including SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and defect management • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams • Strong documentation, reporting, planning, and coordination skills • Comfortable working in a fast-moving project environment with multiple workstreams This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a major SAP transformation program with a well-known retail organisation.
